OpenAI Hires Top Executives and Announces Apple Partnership #

OpenAI has appointed two new executives and partnered with Apple for a ChatGPT-Siri integration. Sarah Friar, former CEO of Nextdoor and finance chief of Square, has joined as CFO. OpenAI also hired Kevin Weil, former president at Planet Labs, as chief product officer. The integration with Apple will enable ChatGPT to be accessed in iOS, iPadOS, and macOS updates later this year, allowing users to utilize its capabilities within Apple’s Writing Tools feature. Siri will also be able to utilize ChatGPT’s intelligence when required.
